We provide temporary and permanent housing to meet the needs of the most vulnerable homeless population.
IHLE offers high quality, well-managed homes that include personal guidance, life skills, and job preparation. IHLE provides homeless individuals with the services they need to stabilize their lives and become more self-sufficient.
Our Life Skill workshops are a primary way that we deliver timely and useful services to current participants of our center. These educational experience help participants learn coping skill for managing stress, negative moods, relationships , and more.
Our Workshops cover jobs preparedness topics. The participants will learn how to write a cover letter and resume, understand how to resolve conflict in a healthy/productive manner, maintain a blanked work life, and the importance of setting goals by using the accurate method and team building.
Hi, my name is Lonnie. I became homeless due to illness which lead to lack of employment and income in an effort to gain affordable housing. I lost custody of my child I was referred to IN HIS LOVING EMBRACE I had nothing, and IN HIS LOVING EMBRACE provided me with permanent housing, clothing, meals, and transportation. Now my daughter is no longer in foster care, and my family is together. IHLE gave me the opportunity to get back on track. I am taking advantage of the volunteer program here to help me get work experience and build my resume. My family and I are no longer homeless. Thanks to IHLE we are building a good foundation.
